Mode of Operation

Safe Haven for Children does not provide shelter to the children enrolled in the center for the duration of their skill acquisition trainings. Our focus is on reformation and empowerment. However, they will be provided food daily as they come to the centre to acquire these skills. Therefore, the children enrolled, do not need to bother or worry about what they are going to eat.

Safe Haven at the moment only provides this training to the children around its environ, that is, Ikorodu area of lagos state. But, as the vision keeps expanding and more work is finished (completion of buildings and provision of transport bus) in the centre, Safe Haven for Children will be able to reach more areas in Lagos state.

The goal is to equip them for success and that will be incomplete without exposing them to the word of God. So, after each training, they are also taught the word of God to make them spiritually whole.

However, if any of the children need shelter, they will be referred to the orphanage through the Ministry of Youth and Social Development. Also, all vocational facilities will be controlled and maintained by professionals who will volunteer their time for the mental, physical and spiritual development of our vulnerable children.

The heart of God for the street children, the commitment of donors, the zeal, integrity and dynamism of the team of Safe Haven for Children will make this vision achievable.
